Disrupting the property market
Change afoot.
For the last 20 years we’ve seen every industry go through disruption thanks to new digital technologies. One of the last to fold was the world of estate agency. And when Purple Bricks launched in the US it was such a clear and obvious market ripe for disruption. Threatened by their move into the UK, Countrywide, a UK wide Estate Agent group had to react. Deloitte was brought in to help discover and deliver that reaction, to create the new digital estate agent experience and win in the market before all the bricks turned purple.

Just another day at the office...
As design lead for the project, I had to embed with the in-house design team, comply to their external brand agency, uncover insights about their users from the web team. I had to charm the socks off the development team so they believed in the product we were designing. But most of all I had to earn the trust of the business and the exec. that I could deliver a market leading product.
UXxUI Design
UX and UI design ran synchronously on this project, we’re we didn’t have the luxury of creating lo-fi wireframes, we were exploring ideas in the the design system, and testing live on 3rd party platforms. In the end over 400 screens were created across desktop, tablet and mobile, that would be transposed across the 50+ different brand styles of their estate agent associates. The examples here are from one of their agents, Austin & Wyatt.
